There was this dude DJing…
He wasn’t that great but the crowd was going crazy so I thought I’d walk to the front of the stage to get a better view…
And it was…….Boy George? Definitely a WTF + awesome moment.
Even though he wasn’t the best DJ I have ever heard, it was really fun seeing him in person and hearing him play some obscure hits from the 80s. The crowd was going crazy but I think it had more to do with the fact that that’s just how Serbians like to party, and less to do with who was DJing. In fact, I think the highlight of my night was this enthusiastic gentleman who jumped on stage and commanded the audience’s attention for an entire song.
What a great night! If you are ever in Belgrade I definitely recommend a visit to Club Plastic, where you never know who you’ll find behind the decks.
this is awesome. i knew from photo one it was him with that strange hat!!!! i never get cool encounters like this. one time i was at a mall in mississippi when i lived there and aaron carter was playing and i didnt realize it. embarrassingly enough, i knew who he was (i blame my little sister). this was when i was 20…which was (holy shit) 8 years ago. yikes.
and now i have culture club stuck in my head the rest of the night. not cool larissa.
