Instead of flying straight back to Copenhagen from London, I decided to fly to Berlin instead (it was the same price) so I could hang with some friends.

I spent 5 days there, mostly rainy ones, and then finally made my way back up to Scandinavia on an overnight Eurolines bus. If you book far enough in advance you can get a one-way ticket for 22 euros from Berlin to Copenhagen. Overnight bus travel in eastern Europe left me traumatized but I have to say I was quite impressed with this ride. I had a perfectly reclinable seat, a whole row to myself, AND WIFI!  Totally changed my perception on bus travel in Europe and I can’t wait to do it again (ride on Eurolines + Berlin).
