New York and I go back to 2008 when I went for a 6 day vacation and ended up staying 6 months. It really is one of the coolest cities in the world, definitely a place everyone must see at least once in their life.

It’s pretty easy to get into Manhattan from all of New York’s airports if you have the time during a long layover which is why I always try to route my flights through there just pop in and say hello. For first time visitor’s however, you will barely scratch the surface of the city with an extended layover – not surprisingly. Even after living there 6 months, I feel like there is so much I still haven’t explored.
