London is glamorous – there is no doubt about that – and is one of my favorite cities in the world to party in. Aside from the fact that it is where some of my best friends live, the bars and clubs there are really some of the sexiest, most luxurious clubs I have ever been to. It goes without saying then that they are also some of the most exclusive and hardest to get into. Not impossible though, especially if you now people and/or have money to spend.
Since so many people are headed to London for the Olympics or are there already, I thought it would be a good time to do some research and recommend a few places that are super hot right now. As the title suggests, the clubs and bars on this list are the sexiest and therefore perfect for those who are looking for a more luxury holiday in London. I will save my favorite dives for another time.
Here is where to go if you want champagne and luxury establishments over pints and seedy pubs:
Mo*vida
This is one of the most exclusive clubs in the whole of London and is particularly popular with footballers and celebrities. Although it is notoriously difficult to get into Mo*vida, you might succeed if you are dressed to kill, are with a regular, or are willing to throw some money at the front door. The music in Mo*vida is sexy and makes you want to dance. A lot. The club is not far from Oxford Circus tube station.
The Arts Club
Located close to Green Park tube station, you can also find lots of celebrities at The Arts Club if that’s what you are in the mood for. Charles Dickens and Churchill used to hang here so you know it has to be good. If you try and make a reservation a few months in advance, you may be lucky enough to get a table at the Oyster Bar or in the Cigar Garden. Both places are definitely worth a try as The Arts Club is a super cool place to chill out while simultaneously soaking up the London atmosphere.
Boujis Club and Bar
People who want to party like royalty should check out the Boujis club and bar in South Kensington. It has been voted the premium nightlife destination in London for the last eight years in a row. Although getting on the VIP list is tough, it is worth making the effort since the place brings in a lot of top notch DJs. The I AM ROCKSTAR Tuesdays are really popular. Around the time I was living there it was also a favorite spot of Prince Harry and Prince William. Boujis is really close to South Kensington tube station.
Dorsia Nightclub
Just a few doors away from Boujis is the extremely stylish and sexy Dorsia Club. There are three floors to explore in the ultra lavish club, that is if you are lucky enough to get inside – it’s a private members club. The Dorsia Club is really popular with London’s socialites, and unless you can play the part or have friends who play the part, odds are it’s going to be tough to enter. There’s always celebrity sightings at the the Dorsia Club’s supurb restaurant – it’s on the first floor and has a great view of the Natural History Museum. The venue has also won several awards for their impressive cocktails. If you go, drink lots of them.
